Australia Day – People’s March

Over 2000 representatives from community groups including multicultural, sporting and special interest clubs will walk together from the Melbourne Town Hall along Swanston Street to Federation Square. Great free spectacle to celebrate Australia Day. Proudly supported by Australian Unity.
RACV Australia Day Picnic and Federation Vehicle Display

Venue: Kings Domain Gardens
Kings Domain Gardens will host free fun, family activities including arts, crafts, sporting activities, entertainment, displays, food stalls and over 450 vintage and classic vehicles. Among the stars on the stage will be legendary jazz trumpeter James Morrison (12 noon – 2pm). A spectacular aerobatic display by the Royal Australian Air Force's Roulettes will take place (approx 2pm and subject to operational demands and weather conditions).

Learn how to fish for free with expert fishers. Rods, tackle and bait supplied and giveaways for children. B# Big Band at Sidney Myer Music Bowl

The Sidney Myer Music Bowl will play host to a free concert featuring the 17 piece B# Big Band, a jazz, swing and dance band playing music from the 30s, 40s and 50s swing eras. Great fun for music and dance lovers.
Trans Turkish Express at Sidney Myer Music Bowl

The Bowl’s evening free concert will feature Turkish dance, music and lively entertainment, with headline act Arabian-rock Istanbul Arabesque Project plus plenty of Victoria’s home grown Turkish delights. Pre-concert entertainment to commence from 6pm.
