The People's March

Thousands of spectactors enjoyed the 2013 People's March which saw over 2,500 people representing 83 organisations march.   Proudly supported by Australian Unity, the March included cultural, services, bands, sporting and special interest community clubs.

Thanks to the thousands of people who attended this year's Australia Day celebrations in Melbourne.  The 2013 Melbourne and regional program of events and activities is in the What's On section.   Details of the 2014 Australia Day program will be added to the website later this year. Stay tuned for regular updates as the program is confirmed.

Victoria's 2013 Australia Day Ambassadors come from a range of fields including the arts, sport, community, entertainment and business sectors.  They attended a diverse range of events and celebrations across Victoria on Australia Day.

Working Australians were encouraged to share the celebration of our national day with work colleagues on 25th January.   Many Victoria companies and organisations took part in their own Australia Day in the Office celebrations.  Click here for more info.

Celebrations in King's Domain Gardens attracted huge crowds on Australia Day.  There were plenty of family activities to enjoy, vintage vehicles to admire, fabulous food to share, and a terrific lineup of music to dance along to.
